  1. It was raining that day, misting lightly at the time – had to cover the camera with a sandwich bag – made the landscape very flat, monochrome, like an ink wash caligraphy.
    Looked like a Japanese block print, or a Zen Garden with that impeccably raked gravel swirling around pensive islands (I imagine that’s what you’re thinking, too, Robert.)

    There were crows.
